Light weight resin is a very light and soft material, the hardness is very low, in the process of polishing will produce the demoulding effect, thus forming bright resin layer on the stone surface. Sponge polishing resin hardness is far lower than stone hardness, under the action of the machine and stone surface strong friction, it will fall off layers of resin under the action of grinding force, these resin coated polishing material through the machine to fill in the micro pores on the stone surface, and the formation of a layer of resin film on the stone surface.
The longer the polishing time, the more resin shed, the thicker the resin film formed. The mesh number of the sponge represents its thickness, the higher the mesh number represents the more delicate the polishing material, the better the filling performance, and the more dense the resin film is finally formed.
Dense, which means it has enough brightness. Through the sponge polishing, even can reach more than 70 degrees of gloss.
